What is Reiki?

Reiki is a natural healing technique. Reiki (Ray-Key) is a Japanese word meaning universal life force energy or spiritual energy.

Reiki is a gift of the universe that balances the body's energy allowing it to relax and heal itself. This universal life force brings Source energy into focus in the body, mind and spirit.

One Saturday morning I arrived at Vermont Herbal feeling unbalanced & stressed. I had a cup of herbal tea and found myself following Sylvia around the store. I really couldn't sit still. I asked her to do a Reiki healing for me. As I was receiving the healing, I could feel all of my symptoms release from my body and mind. It was as if she drew each one out and pushed them away. I could feel each one leave me. Awesome. For the first time in a long time I felt whole and in control. I was still calm the next day. I felt calm, safe, surrounded by love & protection.

The ability to tap this energy is provided by a Reiki master through a series of energy activations or attunements which open and align the Chakras. This allows one an increase in capacity to receive universal life force energy amplifying our natural access to Ki whatever our normal capacity already is. We channel this energy. We become one with Reiki.

Once you receive the 1st degree or level I Reiki attunements, all that is needed is to have the intent to heal. Touch is significant to intend to heal. It is possible to also heal with the eyes.

Here at Vermont Herbal we can give you attunements and show you how to heal yourself and others, from pets to plants.

Many of our students like the 1 to 1 class. Some like to be with others while learning. We can accommodate you with either style. It is always your choice.

In store Reiki Sessions and Classes
Healings are approximately $1 per minute, although a 45 to 60 minute healing is $35.

Level II instruction - $175
Level III instruction - $500
Instruction to teach Reiki - $500
Jumpstart attunements - $35

Long Distance Reiki Session
Long distance Reiki will be sent at the rate of $1 per minute. You may choose your healing time.

Long Distance Reiki Attunements
Level I Reiki Attunements can be sent for a fee of $125. Correspondence is required to make appointment. Approximate time is 2 hours.
